Don’t wait too long to make your move. This one is simple but fairly crucial if you’re on a third or fourth date with a girl and you haven’t made it clear you like her or even tried to kiss her, you really should do. It can be tough if you’re shy but if you don’t she’ll eventually assume you’re not interested and move on.

If she lets you see her covered in dirt, or sweaty, or generally looking messy, chances are you’re already right where you don’t want to be. If you’re not close enough (as people) for her to be that comfortable around you (which she shouldn’t be if you haven’t slept together), then it’s most likely that she just see’s you as a friend and isn’t worried about you finding her attractive.

Make it clear to her what you’re looking for, and don’t ever refer to her as ‘mate’, ‘buddy’ or anything similar. If she starts referring to you as her ‘friend’, her ‘bud’ or (the worst) ‘brother’, then you can basically be sure that she’s only interested in you as a friend.

If she brings up the topic of intercourse, at any point without prompting when the two of you haven’t slept together, then you need to make a move. Her even mentioning anything like this is a clear sign that she’s ready for you to sleep together and it’s likely that she’s had to bring it up because you haven’t made a move – miss this chance and it’s likely to be your last.
