OK, I will give you as simple new children we do need protection. Fine. But shortly after they learn to function by themselves, self-empowerment should be part of the training for the little ones.

Well-intentioned adults want to do the correct thing so they guide, caution, admonish, and instil fear in young ones to make them behave. This only underscores an underlying insecurity and inability. The feeling of not-enoughness gets engraved at an early age.

Brain research now explains to us that until we’re 7, we are so open and available to receive, we have no filtering ability at all. We walk around in a kind of hypnagogic trance and become impressed with whatever comes into our life experience. It’s not a question we have deeply ingrained, although misguided, beliefs about an imperfect nature. By the time we are 6 years old, we have listened to the word “NO” about 60,000 times. Watch out for that, that could hurt you, be careful, do not drop that. The recurring message says you’re unworthy, you cannot trust you, you don’t know what you are doing, and so on.

Our parents and elders were certainly well-meaning. They simply intended for our well-being. But you can see how simply we’ve been trained away from our inherent beauty and brilliance.

I recommend that you go easy with yourself and let yourself have a chance. First off, it is not your fault. It is not even the fault of your parents. They were programmed the same way too. You can stop the perpetration of low sense of self-worth on yourself and everyone you know. You deserve to have everything you desires.

Do your very best to give yourself love and self-acceptance. Treat yourself as you would a beloved child. Forgive her for her shortcomings. The reality is, the Universe appreciates, Spirit adores you, and your Inner Being loves you. Why? Because you ARE lovable. And that IS the truth!

A great practice to change your inherent desires on this is by using a strong tool that Abraham-Hicks teaches called Book of Positive Aspects. This is a powerful tool for creating a Love with the Law of Attraction.

You can use this tool when you see you experience a lot of negative vibrations and need to continue changing the direction of your intention and find a better feeling place. When you desire to strengthen your threshold of creation since you have got some negative energy. Here is how it works: you should do this in written form to get the hang of it. I really suggest that you never cease to handwrite a Book of Positive Aspects. You will wish to set aside at least 15 minutes for this practice.

At the top of the page put down the area of what you desire an improved vibrational set point on. Maybe a certain thing has caught your attention that you don’t like, you’d rather not have it occurring, or maybe you’ve got a large bit of judgment about this subject and feel bad. Write down what that is. Now notice that you know what you do not want and the contrast has aided you to hone the intention of what you actually desire. Your task is to put down in detail you want.
