The Dating Market.
Since at the time women have an easier time attracting mates than do men, and can be more ‘picky’ because of it. Would it make sense for men to start becoming more stringent in their demands for women to date in order to balance the dating market?

What do you mean "it makes sense for women". When have women ever organised a national "make it easier for women to date" movemen by refusing to date unnattractive men/ men who only have looks? How would these make it any easier for men?

Attraction is a personal matter, what you might find sexy in a woman another man might not.
So lets pretend…you convince all the single men to do this…how are you going to set the standards? As to what is unattractive and what is attractive??
