I know this is an old post but I just wanna tell you- almost no one likes the sound of their own voice. I can’t stand mine! I’m a girl and when I hear my own voice it sounds like a boy’s to me. Other people tell me I sound fine though. I wouldn’t worry about it other people don’t hear it the same way you do.

If only I had a …
If only I had a slightly deeper voice, mine is way too nasal and high pitched, to the point of being annoying. Almost to the point where I sound like I’m always complaining. The worst part is, I know exactly what my voice sounds like ever since I spoke into a recorder during speech class years ago during college. How the am I suppose to expect a woman to tolerate what I say when I myself can’t seem to stand the sound of my own voice?
